Spud Bake a Sucess
Thanks to all who participated and donated their time and funds. We raised $238.00. This gives us the funds we need to ship in potatoes (8000 pounds) for distribution to those in need throughtout our county in January 2012.
Again, thanks to all.

Terena A. Jones

- Trustee Committee Meeting - Approved Property Enhancement Plan - Trustees reviewed the details of the plan and voted to adopt the changes to the plan in order to meet health department requirements and build the UMC Community Park at St. John's heights. This park will be a great community outreach.

On-going 2011
Pack-a-Sack Ministry - Thanks to all who donoted full Pack-A-Sacks and/or items to pack sacks. We have delivered 10 Pack-a-Sacks to the Spencer DHHR for use in child relocation events. We will let you know when we need more sacks. Special note, Thanks to Lisa Woolweaver, we received a $790.00 grant from the United Methodist Church to support this ministry.

On-going for 2011
Church members – many - many thanks you to all who provided food for out community outreach food pantry program.
To date we have helped two families within our community during their time of need. All were very grateful and thanked us many times over for the help they received.
Currently we are well stocked and will let you know in the future as to our needs to keep the pantry fully stocked.
