Come worship with us on Sunday morning!
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. with classes for all ages. We are never too old or too young to learn more about the Word of God!

This Sunday: Sharing God's Grace - Philippians 1: 18 - 29
Worship Service begins at 10:45 a.m. Hear God's message in the sermon ... sing songs of praise...pray. Join together in fellowship as we seek to follow Christ's teachings.

We love to sing and make melody to the Lord at St. John's. Our chancel choir and a bell choir are an integral part of our worship. So whether you like to sit back and listen or make a joyful noise, you will feel right at home. If you have a talent for singing or playing an instrument and would like to share your gift with us, just let us know!

We, as St. John's United Methodist Church, covenant within the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, commit ourselves as individuals and as a church to work diligently, faithfully and boldly as evangelists for Jesus Christ. We will proclaim the good news of the gospel and invite those who are disillusioned, broken, hopeless, hungry, and lost to experience Jesus in our midst. In the name of Jesus Christ, we commit our church to have open doors, open minds, and open hearts.

" Great is Thy Faithfulness "
Opening Prayer:
Almighty and everlasting God, in whom we live and move and have our being, you created us for yourself, so that our hearts are restless until they rest in you. Grant to us such piety of heart and strength of purpose that no selfish passion may hinder us from knowing your will, and no weakness from doing it. In your light may we see life clearly and in your service find perfect freedom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
